The challenge
Sicily Hair was a fresh Canadian brand from the Milton area with a fantastic product: natural, ethical hair extensions and hair care. What they didn’t have was a brand. They had an idea generated by ChatGPT, and it wasn’t taking them anywhere.
In beauty, looks matter. The founder didn’t know where to start or what she wanted, only a vague vision pieced together from competitors, with no clear direction.
What we built
- The brand name, positioning and creative direction
- Logo, logo mark and logo variations
- A colour palette: Coco, Mist, Salmon Pinch and Orange Rust
- Typography pairing Klaristha with Montserrat
- A brand pattern and packaging mockups
- The full Shopify store design, from homepage to product FAQ
How it went

Brainstorm together
Several ideation and brainstorming sessions turned a vague vision into a clear idea of who Sicily is for and how it should feel.

Explore, then choose
We designed multiple logo and branding directions. The founder fell in love with one that was close to the final logo.
03
Refine and build
A few tweaks later, Sicily had a fresh new look that represents the business and its vision. Then we moved straight on to the store.
The store: the design is complete and the Shopify build is under way.
